    Position Overview

    KWalk Kids Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing pediatric home-based therapy team serving Central San Diego.

    This position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with full-time preferred and up to 40 hours per week available. Part-time candidates who can complete approximately 15 patient visits per week will also be considered.

    The ideal candidate is a compassionate, personable clinician with strong communication skills and a passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful developmental milestones.

    New graduate Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply. Paid training and mentorship are provided by a board-certified pediatric clinical specialist.

    Role Responsibilities

    The Physical Therapist will provide pediatric therapy services in home and community-based settings, creating individualized treatment plans that support each child’s development and functional goals.

    The caseload includes:

    Approximately 90% children from birth to age 3

    Approximately 10% children ages 3-18

    Current patient population ranges through age 11

    Common diagnoses include:

    Developmental delays

    Neurological conditions

    Torticollis

    Cerebral Palsy

    Autism Spectrum Disorder

    Other neurodevelopmental conditions

    Full-time PTs can expect to treat approximately 27-30 visits per week while providing individualized, family-centered care.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The anticipated compensation range is $60-$65 per clinical hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

    Schedule

    Monday through Friday schedule with flexible scheduling options.

    Saturday hours are available but not required.

    No major holidays.

    Full-time clinicians are expected to work five days per week, with options for a half-day Friday or another weekday off.

    Part-time candidates able to complete 15 visits per week will also be considered.

    Qualifications

    Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in California

    Pediatric experience preferred, but not required

    New graduate Physical Therapists are welcome and will receive paid mentorship and training
