    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! We are a multidisciplinary therapy group located in beautiful Ventura, California. Opportunity to service pediatric clients in the clinic and home setting. Opportunity to work with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and early interventionists.     Responsibilities

    1. Physical Therapist (PT) administers and analyzes test results to determine client's deficits and provide appropriate recommendations.
    2. The PT may examine clients' medical histories, neurological and psychological test results, and information from interdisciplinary specialists in order to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
    3. The PT provides skilled therapy in an individual session to clients.
    4. The PT plans, directs, and conducts habilitative to treat disorders and developmental delays.
    5. The PT devises treatment plans, objectives, and goals and determines potential to meet goals for clients. Short and Long Term goals are formulated to achieve functional outcomes as determined by the client assessment. Goals are reviewed periodically, reassessed in therapy and modified, as indicated.
    6. The PT interprets findings to clients, their families, interdisciplinary team members, teachers and/or other concerned parties.
    7. The PT documents methods applied response to intervention, and progress made by client. The PT maintains appropriate records, participates in interdisciplinary discharge planning, interdisciplinary documentation, which may include the interdisciplinary plan of care.

    Qualifications

    Current state licensing for physical therapy required

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite

    Pediatric therapy experience is a plus.
