About the Role:

AZ Therapy Services for Kids LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess students' physical abilities, functional mobility, and gross motor skills

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and educational outcomes

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success

Provide direct and consultative PT services in school and classroom environments

Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports in a timely manner

Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and assistive technology as needed

Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-based planning sessions

Requirements:

Valid Arizona Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain)

Graduate degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting

Familiarity with IEP processes, IDEA regulations, and special education environments

Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams

Current CPR/First Aid certification

Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of all abilities

Prior experience as a School Based Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist or Pediatric Physical Therapist is preferred.
