As a Physical Therapy Aide – Assessment Specialist at Kelly Hawkins Physical Therapy, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients. Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assessment Specialist for a field-based position. You will conduct patient assessments using the FIGUR8 Biomotion Assessment Platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and an outstanding patient experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, clinically skilled, and able to collaborate with physical therapy clinics to integrate movement data into patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Assessments
- Perform in-person patient assessments using the FIGUR8 Biomotion Assessment Platform at designated PT clinics.
- Clinic Coordination
- Confirm clinic readiness for scheduled testing blocks.
- Communicate with clinic teams to ensure patient scheduling and preparedness.
- Post-Assessment Follow-Up
- Share assessment results and plan subsequent testing with partner clinics.
- Guide timing and coordination for follow-up assessments.
- Data Management & Quality
- Capture, sync, and review assessment data for accuracy.
- Maintain high standards of clinical and technical quality.
- Provider Support
- Collaborate with supervising providers to interpret movement data.
- Assist in integrating findings into individualized care plans.
- Territory Management
- Travel within your assigned geographic area to provide consistent, reliable on-site support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assessment delivery in your territory.
Qualifications
- Clinical Expertise
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal health assessment and data interpretation.
- Licensure/Credentials (Preferred)
- Physical Therapy Technician, Athletic Trainer (ATC), Exercise Physiologist (EP), Physical Therapist (PT), PTA, OT, or COTA.
- Experience
- Required:
- Professional experience in a relevant clinical or allied health field.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge in practical settings to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Pre-Physical Therapy, or related discipline.
- Current licensure or certification in a relevant field (ATC, EP, etc.).
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary healthcare environments.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of MSK injuries, conditions, and recovery principles.
- Comfortable with medical technology and clinical data systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel regularly.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and clinical quality.
