About the Role:

Active Physical Therapy PLLC is looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team in Larchmont, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced physical therapists, gain hands-on clinical experience, and make a real difference in patients' recovery journeys.

We need evening hour coverage from 2 pm to 9 pm on MON and WED, and 1 pm to 6 pm TUES and THURS.

Responsibilities:

Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering patient care and treatment programs

Prepare and maintain treatment areas, equipment, and therapy supplies

Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities under therapist supervision

Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the supervising PT

Provide a welcoming, supportive environment for patients throughout their rehabilitation

Perform front desk and administrative duties including scheduling and patient check-in as needed

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic in accordance with safety and hygiene standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in health sciences or kinesiology a plus

Prior experience in a physical therapy, healthcare, or clinical setting is required

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach

Ability to stand, assist with patient mobility, and perform light physical tasks throughout the shift

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player in a fast-paced clinical environment

CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy or allied health is a strong plus
