Sky Park Physical Therapy - Physical Therapy Aide
Position: Physical Therapy Aide Location: Sky Park Physical Therapy Compensation: $18-$20 hourly based on experience Schedule: Part-time
Position Summary: The Physical Therapy Aide plays a critical support role in the daily operations of the clinic by assisting therapists in delivering high-quality, efficient care. This position focuses on preparing treatment areas, guiding patients through exercises under supervision, maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, and supporting general workflow to ensure an excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Support & Clinical Flow
Assist therapists with the setup and breakdown of treatment equipment for patient sessions
Guide patients through prescribed exercises or warm-up routines, offering encouragement and correcting form under therapist supervision
Escort patients between treatment spaces, ensuring smooth transitions and timely flow
Prepare hot/cold packs, resistance bands, and mobility tools as needed for treatment
Monitor patients during exercises to ensure safety and report any concerns to supervising therapists
Clinic Cleanliness & Maintenance
Maintain a clean and organized clinic space, including sanitizing tables, equipment, and shared areas throughout the day
Dispose of towels, wipes, and other supplies appropriately
Perform daily room reset tasks to ensure a professional appearance for all appointments
Support with laundry, restocking supplies, and occasional light maintenance tasks as needed
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist front desk staff as needed with check-ins, patient flow updates, or running basic errands
Restock treatment rooms and gym areas with supplies and tools for efficient therapist access
Participate in periodic inventory checks for clinical and cleaning supplies
Report facility issues (equipment malfunction, safety hazards, etc.) promptly to the clinic director
Team Collaboration & Growth
Communicate clearly and respectfully with therapists, administrative staff, and patients
Attend team meetings, in-services, or trainings as requested
Exhibit a desire to grow within the rehab or health profession and take feedback with a learning mindset
Contribute to a positive, patient-first environment aligned with Cuirim’s values of hospitality and performance-driven care
Priority List for time not spent with Patient
Communicate clearly and respectfully with therapists, administrative staff, and patients
