About the Role:

Join A Z HOME HEALTH CARE INC as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the Lapeer area, where you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care, making a difference in the community every day.

Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.

Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.

Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques.

Document patient care and progress in compliance with regulations.

Maintain and clean equipment used in therapy sessions.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Provide support to patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients.

Requirements:

Current PTA license in the state of Michigan.

Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.

Previous experience in a home health setting preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.

Basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Reliable transportation for travel to patient homes.
