About the Role:

Holmdel Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Holmdel, NJ is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

Implement patient treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality treatments with patients

Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT

Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques

Assist with sports rehabilitation and performance-based recovery programs

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area and equipment

Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Current NJ state licensure or eligibility to obtain PTA licensure

CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire

Experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings preferred

Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented clinical environment

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills
