    About the Role:

    Join ACTION POINT PHYSICAL THERAPY LLC as a Physical Therapy Assistant and play a key role in helping patients recover and achieve their movement and health goals. Located in the beautiful Sandpoint, ID, we pride ourselves on providing compassionate care and innovative treatment plans in a supportive environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients while monitoring patient response.

    Ensure correct exercise form so the intended goal of a chosen exercise is being achieved and movement training is effective.

    Provide manual treatments as appropriate within the PTA scope under the direction of the physical therapist.

    Ensure patient is progressing as expected and modify as appropriate under physical therapist supervision.

    Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and equipment.

    Educate patients on reasoning for the plan-of-care, including exercise choice, manual therapy treatments, chosen interventions, etc to promote good patient compliance for progress outside of the clinic.

    Document patient treatments, outcomes, and all relevant provider-patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record.

    Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care by practicing proactive and effect communication.

    Provide exceptional customer service to patients, other providers and their office staff, and the community in general when required.

    Participate in company marketing to help increase community awareness about Action Point Physical Therapy and what services we offer to help people achieve their movement goals.

    Requirements:

    Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

    Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Idaho.

    Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.

    Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.

    Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

    Experience with electronic health records.

    Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
