    As our next physical therapist, we're looking for a medical professional who is enthusiastic about patient care. You will work with individuals who experience mobility problems following surgery or an injury and assist them in creating a treatment strategy. In this position, you will be in charge of putting together individualized health and fitness programs for patients as well as giving them physical therapy to reduce pain and increase mobility. Our ideal applicant will be knowledgeable about the most recent advancements in treatment and will have experience dealing with a wide range of patient issues. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with others in the medical field and seek their opinions • Analyze and draw conclusions based on data collected from the patient's tests and examinations • Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and follow all applicable policies and procedures • Design therapeutic strategies that integrate many approaches and techniques to meet individual patient needs • Use physical therapy on patients to reduce pain and improve mobility as advised by doctor • Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes under the supervision of the Physical Therapist • Implement treatment plans established by the supervising PT • Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, balance, and endurance • Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising PT • Document patient visits and treatment notes accurately and in a timely manner • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and fall prevention • Maintain compliance with home health regulations and agency policies Qualifications: • We require a bachelor’s degree and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) • This position requires excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills • This position requires passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) • Some experience working in a healthcare facility or clinic with patients is preferred • This position requires you to be currently licensed in the state you practice • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Michigan • Home health experience preferred but not required • Strong clinical and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Current CPR certification Compensation: $35 - $50 hourly
