    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. The PTA will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans that enhance patients' physical function and quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Assist physical therapists in implementing and modifying treatment plans for patients, following established protocols and patient goals.
    - Provide therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to promote recovery and mobility.
    - Monitor and document patient progress, outcomes, and any changes in condition throughout the treatment process.
    - Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, safety, and home care techniques to support ongoing recovery.
    - Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
    - Participate in team meetings and discussions to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
    - Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
    - Engage in professional development activities, including continuing education and staying updated on best practices in physical therapy.

    Qualifications:
    - Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    - Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
    - Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
    - Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
    - Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols, procedures, and terminology.

    - Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.

    - Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including lifting, pushing, and assisting patients with mobility.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed, including those with limited mobility.
    - Capability to stand for prolonged periods, as well as perform physical activities that may include bending, reaching, and kneeling.
