We provide a holistic spectrum of services—including massage, acupuncture, chiropractic care and physical therapy - to improve health outcomes and reduce medical costs for individuals with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and spina bifida.

    The Opportunity

    We are seeking a motivated, neuro-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Lakewood team as a contracted employee. This role begins as a PRN position (2 days per week) with the potential to transition into a Full-Time role as our participant base grows. You will work under the direct supervision of our on-site Physical Therapist to deliver life-changing, high-intensity rehabilitation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Clinical Excellence: Execute physical therapy treatments following the established Plan of Care for participants with complex neurological conditions.

    • Advanced Tech Integration: Utilize specialized equipment (FES, vibe plate, blood flow restriction) to maximize participant functional gains.

    • Collaboration: Maintain constant communication and collaboration with the on-site supervising PT and the broader Chanda Center integrative team.

    • Documentation: Complete high-quality therapy documentation within 24–48 hours of treatment, adhering to all federal, state, and center standards.

    • Ethics & Safety: Provide therapy in an ethical manner, prioritizing participant safety and privacy at all times.

    Qualifications

    • Certification: Current Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.

    • Experience: Experience or a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation (SCI, BI, MS) is highly preferred.

    • Reliability: Ability to commit to two full days per week (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM).
