We are seeking a motivated and dependable part-time Physical Therapist Assistant who wants to provide high-quality patient care while growing clinical skills in industrial rehabilitation and functional restoration.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys hands-on treatment, patient education, therapeutic exercise progression, manual therapy, and working closely with Physical Therapists in a collaborative environment.     Key Responsibilities

    Administer therapy treatments according to the Physical Therapist's plan of care.

    Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate significant changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.

    Provide input to the Physical Therapist regarding treatment progression, goal updates, and discharge planning.

    Educate patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members within the established plan of care.

    Document treatment progress and patient information accurately and in a timely manner.

    Use therapy devices and equipment safely and appropriately for patient care.

    Employ stretching, soft tissue, and manual therapy techniques within PTA scope and clinic standards.

    Sanitize and clean therapy areas and equipment to support a safe clinical environment.

    Assist with clerical duties such as typing, filing, forms, letters, memos, reports, answering phones, and directing calls as needed.

    Skills and Abilities

    Effectively monitor patient response and adapt treatment within the established plan of care.

    Prepare accurate treatment documentation and communicate patient changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

    Identify when patient care requires the Physical Therapist's skills, reassessment, or direct involvement.

    Adapt to changes in caseload, scheduling, staffing, and patient needs.

    Communicate clearly and support treatment rationale in a professional manner.

    Use therapy devices, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and manual techniques appropriately.

    Show initiative, integrity, strong work quality, and excellent customer service.

    Understand and apply principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    Manage time effectively, meet deadlines, follow detailed directions, and think critically.

    Work independently and as part of a team while learning and integrating new technologies effectively.

    Education and Experience

    Valid Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant license.

    Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

    Maintain continuing education requirements to keep a valid Washington State PTA license.

    Physical Requirements

    Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.

    Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

    Reliable transportation.
