A Scrub Technician at Team Physical Therapy is responsible for assisting our clinical and administrative staff with workflow, clerical, and housekeeping tasks within the clinic.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greet patients
· Prepare pre-treatment heat and ice packs
· Pull and file charts
· Laundry and light housekeeping
· Organize, clean, and prepare treatment areas of the clinic as assigned
· Manage and receive inventory
· Prepare patient binders for home exercise
OTHER DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Observes strict confidentiality of company’s private information.
· Demonstrate proficient time management skills.
· Maintain a clean and inviting environment
· Collaborates with Director of Operations on workflow, and communication as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
· Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, operation of standard office equipment.
· Operation of computer, MS Office, keyboard, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Detail oriented, professional, and reliable.
· Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with a variety of individuals.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA and Team policy.
· Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
· Ability to take direction and follow accepted practices and procedures.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· High School diploma or equivalent, required.
· Strong critical thinking skills. · Pre-health track student, required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands, speak, and hear, see at close vision and bend.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Work is performed in an energetic office environment.
· Occasionally work is required in the archive storage area.
OTHER:
· Occasionally required to work irregular hours to coordinate with other schedules.
