As our next physical therapist, we're looking for a medical professional who is enthusiastic about patient care. You will work with individuals who experience mobility problems following surgery or an injury and assist them in creating a treatment strategy. In this position, you will be in charge of putting together individualized health and fitness programs for patients as well as giving them physical therapy to reduce pain and increase mobility. Our ideal applicant will be knowledgeable about the most recent advancements in treatment and will have experience dealing with a wide range of patient issues. Responsibilities: • Keep records of the patient's medical history and follow all rules, regulations, and protocols • Perform physical therapy as directed by a doctor to reduce pain and improve mobility for patients • Ask patients about their physical status, including any injuries or mobility concerns • Generate therapy plans that incorporate a variety of strategies to fit the needs of each patient • Obtain advice from and work together with other healthcare professionals Qualifications: • This position requires passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) • Must have a current state license to practice in the state you reside in • Successful candidates will need strong analytical, communication, and observational skills • This position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) • We prefer candidates with some previous experience working directly with patients in a healthcare setting Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 yearly
