We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and patient-focused Physical Therapy Technician / Medical Receptionist to support both our rehabilitation team and front-office operations. What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapy Technician / Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience from check-in through treatment completion. You will assist our Physical Therapists, Physicians, and clinical staff while ensuring smooth daily clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support Duties

Assist Physical Therapists and providers with patient flow and treatment preparation

Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient visits

Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises under therapist supervision

Monitor patients during exercise sessions and report concerns to clinical staff

Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment

Clean and disinfect treatment rooms, equipment, and common clinical areas

Stock clinical supplies and assist with inventory management

Support rehabilitation programs and patient education initiatives

Front Office & Administrative Duties

Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service

Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries

Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments

Verify patient information and update records in the EMR system

Collect copayments, balances, and process patient paperwork

Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff

Assist with administrative projects and daily office operations

Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times

Qualifications

Preferred

Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Technician, Rehabilitation Technician, Medical Receptionist, Medical Assistant, or similar healthcare role

Experience in physical therapy, orthopedics, pain management, sports medicine, chiropractic, or rehabilitation settings

Customer service or patient-facing experience

CPR Certification
