Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech)
Part-Time with Potential Transition to Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights | No Weekends
Location: In-Person (Michigan) – Lathrup Village & Farmington Hills

Join our growing outpatient regenerative medicine and interventional pain management practice, where we combine evidence-based rehabilitation with advanced treatments such as PRP, prolotherapy, Shockwave Therapy, and Laser Therapy to help patients heal naturally and avoid unnecessary surgery.
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) to assist our Physical Therapists and clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, sports medicine, exercise science, kinesiology, nursing, or other healthcare professions.
What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will work alongside Physical Therapists, Physicians, and rehabilitation professionals to support patient treatment sessions and maintain an efficient, organized clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists with patient flow and treatment preparation
Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Monitor patients during treatment sessions and promptly communicate concerns to clinical staff
Prepare treatment rooms and therapy equipment before patient visits
Clean, disinfect, and organize treatment areas and equipment between appointments
Assist with patient setup for therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation activities
Maintain clinic cleanliness and safety standards
Stock and organize clinical supplies and equipment
Help create a positive, encouraging, and professional patient experience
Communicate effectively with therapists, physicians, and other team members
Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
Preferred
Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Technician, Rehabilitation Technician, Exercise Specialist, Athletic Trainer Assistant, Medical Assistant, or similar healthcare role
Experience in outpatient physical therapy, orthopedics, sports medicine, chiropractic, rehabilitation, or pain management settings
CPR Certification
