Staff Physician – Adult Medicine Clinic

A respected healthcare facility in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking compassionate and committed Staff Physicians to join its Adult Medicine Clinic. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality, culturally competent primary care in a team-based, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive adult primary care , including health promotion and disease prevention

• Deliver care efficiently while maintaining clinical excellence and cultural sensitivity

• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation

• Make evidence-based decisions and collaborate with specialists and support staff as needed

• Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical systems effectively

• Participate in team meetings and quality initiatives

• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases

• Valid Connecticut medical license

• Eligible for DEA and state narcotic registration

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with clinical quality measures and EHR documentation standards

• Demonstrated accountability and clinical judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in ambulatory or urgent care settings

• Bilingual in Spanish and English highly preferred
