    Job Summary

    We are seeking a qualified and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our pain management practice. This is an immediate opening for a clinical professional who is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with physicians and other members of the healthcare team. The Physician Assistant will evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions under physician supervision and in accordance with applicable California laws, regulations, and established clinical protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct comprehensive and focused patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.

    Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

    Order and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate within scope of practice.

    Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with applicable laws, clinical protocols, and scope of practice.

    Monitor patient response to treatment and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

    Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, procedures, and ongoing pain-management strategies.

    Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

    Collaborate with physician, clinical staff, pharmacies, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

    Maintain compliance with HIPAA, patient privacy requirements, organizational policies, and applicable state and federal healthcare regulations.

    Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical compliance initiatives as needed.

    Qualifications

    Valid state licensing required

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests

    Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    Pain management, orthopedics, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or related clinical experience is preferred
