    We are seeking a new APP to join our team at our Naperville and Willowbrook locations. Candidates should expect to work at either location although we will try to keep you in one location if desired and compatible with the practice needs. We are open M-F 8-8 and SS 8-5. All candidates must be willing to work all shift types.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an APP to join our team! As an APP, you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities

    Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records

    Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results

    Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes

    Prescribe medication or therapy or perform procedures

    Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan

    Qualifications

    Valid state licensing required

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests

    Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    The ideal candidate is a strong team player, willing to pitch in to provide the best experience for our patients from check in to discharge. We take care of our patients as a team. We have strong support from our medical director who is usually present in the clinic and always available for consultation.

    We are open to new grads who are willing to go through a training program with our director. This would entail a lower starting compensation and odd hours until proficient in the clinic.

    All are eligible for additional compensation for obtaining certifications: DOT, Limited X-ray Earning these certifications will increase hourly compensation.
