Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing preventive and acute health care services to patients ranging in age from 18 to geriatrics. The NP/PA will evaluate complex health histories and provide examinations, diagnose and treat from acute to chronic conditions of the patients otherwise performed by a physician. In addition, interprets laboratory results and imaging, prescribe and manage medications and other therapies, provide health teaching and counseling to support healthy lifestyle behaviors, prevent illness and refer patients to other professionals as needed. The NP/PA provides high-quality, cost –effective and individualized care for the patients, families and communities.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Minimum: A NP/PA who is currently licensed to practice in Arizona, in good standing, by the state of employment. *Preferably have Endocrinology experience.
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
