Duties

• Provide comprehensive and quality patient care under the supervision of a physician
• Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (EHR)
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
• Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and other interdisciplinary meetings

Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across various medical specialties including pediatrics, acute care, and nursing home settings
• Strong knowledge of medical coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate documentation and billing purposes
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently or as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
