    Job Summary

    We are seeking a professional who values the opportunity to learn and grow, clinically, and who is genuinely interested in interventional pain management. As a PA/NP, you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities

    Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records

    Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results

    Develop, initiate, and monitor patient treatment plans utilizing current medical guidelines.

    Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician overseeing as part of a larger health plan

    Order interventional pain procedures, explaining necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of procedures.

    Represent the practice in a professional, respectful, and responsible manner and maintain an appropriate standard of patient care and personal conduct.

    Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.

    Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions.

    Schedule follow-up visits to monitor patients or evaluate health or illness care.

    Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations.

    Qualifications

    Education: Master's degree

    Experience: 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Licenses/Certifications: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures

    EPIC experience preferred

    Certified with respective accrediting body for your profession (NCCPA, ANCC, AANP, etc)
