Position Overview
The Atlanta VA Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Breast Radiologist to provide onsite breast imaging services in Decatur, GA. This is a stable, full-time opportunity offering a predictable weekday schedule with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies
Read and interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI
Perform image-guided breast biopsies
Provide consultation to referring providers
Document findings within the VA electronic health record system
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities
Qualifications
Board Certified in Radiology
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred
MQSA qualified
Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
Active DEA registration
Ability to obtain VA privileges
