Job Opportunity: Physician for School-Based Wellness Center

Location: Kittrell, NC (Residential Trade School Campus)

We are seeking a dedicated physician to join the wellness center at a local residential trade school, providing medical care for students. The wellness center is located directly on the school campus, Kittrell Job Corps Center in Kittrell, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical exams for all students
• Provide low-acuity walk-in care
• Offer general medical support to a young adult population, ages 16-24

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina Physician's License
• Federal DEA Certification
• Board certification is not required, but experience in urgent care or primary care is preferred
• At least one year of experience in young adult care

Position Details:

• Schedule: 14 hours per week, on a regular, weekly basis
• Classification: Contract (Locum Tenens) provider
• Compensation: Competitive contract rate from $130.00 per hour, with malpractice insurance provided
