Job Opportunity: Physician/DO for School-Based Wellness Center

Location: McKinney, TX (Residential Trade School Campus)

We are seeking a dedicated physician to join the wellness center at a local residential trade school, providing medical care for students. The wellness center is located directly on the school campus, North Texas Job Corps Center in McKinney, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical exams for all students
• Provide low-acuity walk-in care
• Offer general medical support to youth ages 16-24 

Requirements:

• Active Texas Physician or DO License
• Federal DEA Certification
• Board certification is not required, but experience in urgent care or primary care is preferred
• At least one year of experience with adolescents

Position Details:

• Schedule: 24 hours per week, on a regular, weekly basis
• Classification: Contract (Locum Tenens) provider
• Compensation: Competitive contract rate from $135.00 per hour, with malpractice insurance provided
