Job Description

Our client, a mass media and entertainment company is seeking a Covid-19 Health and Safety Specialist in the New York, NY location.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 • Ability to work long hours and weekends. 

• Comfortable working in an environment where your direction will only occur through the powers of influence 

• Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, chemistry or biology or 

• One to three years EHS experience • Has worked in a professional environment 

• Experience in media, entertainment or film 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work with the crew of assigned production to ensure compliance with our client’s COVID-19 requirements and any production-specific COVID-19 Production Plan. 

• Monitor and enforce physical distancing and use of face coverings/PPE. 

• Ensure safety signs and reminders are posted, visible, and accurate. 

• Monitor the availability of personal protective equipment and disinfecting supplies. 

• Complete the Daily EHS COVID-19 Compliance Log and Scorecard. 

• Help identify “in-close” work practices and ensure additional protective measures are implemented. • Serve as a resource to production for questions or concerns regarding COVID-19. Perform other safety and health related work as requested.
