    About the Role:

    This position works with a team of field survey crew members to complete a wide variety of survey projects. Projects may include boundary, topographic, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, wetland, construction surveys and other types of surveys as clients require. This is an outdoor position in areas ranging from right of ways, to construction sites, to agriculture sites, to woodland sites, to swamp and wetland areas and everything in between.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Assist the Survey Crew Party Chief with all aspects of the daily crew workload.
    • Daily uploading and downloading of data collectors.
    • Operate survey total stations, data collectors and levels
    • Daily care and charging of instrumentation.
    • Other field survey duties as assigned.

    What You Bring:

    • A High School Diploma. (required)
    • Minimum of two years of field survey experience. (required)
    • A valid Florida driver's license and driving record acceptable to our company insurance provider is a condition of initial and continued employment. (required)
    • Ability to work in a safe manner and obey safety regulations at all times.
    • Strong mathematical skills.
    • Good computer and data collector skills.
    • Proficient with the use of survey equipment. (GPS, Robotics, Total Stations, Levels, and Data Collectors).
    • Strong desire to advance your knowledge and keep up to date with upgrades in technology.
    • Ability to communicate technical information both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
    • Physical ability to work outdoors and on construction sites under all weather conditions.
    • Ability to work overtime as required and/or travel for out of town assignments.
