Job description
As a construction project coordinator, your primary responsibilities are to oversee the operations of a construction project. You will assist the Project Managers with hiring the necessary sub-contractors, managing supplies, updating clients on progress, and helping to keep the project within budget. Strong analytical, management, and leadership skills are additional qualifications. This position requires prior experience in the construction industry. We are seeking someone who is great on the phone, has excellent analytical skills, is detail-oriented, and is a serious multi-tasker. The Coordinator will work as a liaison for the client to identify project requirements and specifications. The Coordinator will administer and organize projects and support teammates. If you are self-motivated, organized and have superb interpersonal skills, you could thrive in this environment. Primary Responsibilities
· Monitor and ensure client requirements are followed
· Review and validate initial field documentation
· Daily job file coordination to include monitoring status, audit and work-in-progress
· Prepare job file reports
· Complete and review job file documentation for final upload and the close-out process
· Assist other departments, as needed
Position Requirements
· 2+ year(s) of administrative or office-related experience
· Experience with writing estimates, job file processes, and quality assurance a plus
· Experience in the construction service industry environment a plus
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Successful at working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Knowledge of the following On-Line Service Platforms a plus: Service Channel, Ariba, Corrigo, Bravo, Varisae, Expedite
· Minimum of HSD/GED preferred
