    Piedmont Protective Services is currently hiring for an Armed Medical Office Security Officer. As an Armed Medical Office Security Officer, you will be at an Ortho Carolina in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC. Main responsibilities will include performing foot patrols and ensuring the safety and security of the patients and staff on the assigned premises. Armed Medical Office Security Officer duties will include patrols of the parking lot and maintaining a strong presence in the main lobby.

    Pay: Range $17.00-18.00

    Schedule

    Friday - Tuesday-Total of 39 hours

    7 am - 7 pm Saturday and Sunday

    5 pm- 10 pm Friday, Monday, and Tuesday

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct regular foot patrols of the assigned area to deter and detect security breaches, fire hazards, and safety risks.

    Interact with employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.

    Enforce access control policies, checking identification and credentials as necessary.

    Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, following established protocols.

    Write detailed incident reports, documenting all activities and incidents that occur during your shift and review with management.

    Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required.

    Follow company and site-specific security procedures and guidelines.

    Qualifications:

    Preferred PPSB unarmed security officer registration or Armed PPSB security registration

    Must be 21 years or older for Armed Security

    Must successfully pass a background/criminal history check

    Must pass a drug screening

    Must own a smartphone with an active service plan

    Must possess a valid driver's license

    Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful situations

    Ability to work alone and independently

    Ability to react to emergency scenarios according to training

    Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
