Pigtails & Crewcuts is a high-end, high-volume salon that caters to kids (we also do Mom & Dad cuts).

Are you an enthusiastic and fun person who LOVES to PARTY and likes working with kids?

What we’re looking for in a team member and position description:

MUST be energetic, professional, and like working with kids!

Reserving children's birthday parties with families and maintain contact with party parents

Greeting and thanking party guests who walk in and out of the salon

Assisting stylists with setting up party room, decorations and assisting kids with crafts and clean-up.

Occasionally assist with outside marketing events such as parades, festivals, etc.- hand out promotional items, talk to people, and get paid while having fun!

May assist with running the Register in the salon

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS INCLUDING SATURDAY & SUNDAY

Other duties as assigned.

Hours are about 5-10 hours per week- Perfect for a student looking for a weekend job!

Minimum Requirements:

Party coordinating experience preferred but not required

Must be reliable and punctual

Highly articulate and able to communicate well with client

Great customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude and outgoing

Must be detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Ability to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes

Team Player and enthusiastic attitude is a MUST!!

Physical Requirements:

Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy

Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 25 lbs intermittently throughout a shift

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
