    Key Responsibilities

    Before Class:

Prepare for a pre-programmed workout by reviewing all relevant materials.

Ensure the room and equipment are set up properly and neatly.

Welcome new members, introduce them to the space and equipment, and assess for injuries and health considerations.

    During Class:

Provide form corrections, addressing members by name and leveraging all four types of cueing techniques.

Offer appropriate modifications—both progressions/amplifications and regressions–in order to run a safe, effective class.

Cultivate a high energy, positive environment to motivate members, helping them to understand their own strengths and push past limitations.

Remain alert and aware of the room, responding to individual and group needs as they arise.

    After Class:

Offer praise and a friendly farewell to departing guests.

Reset the room, tidying stations and wiping down equipment as needed.
