    We are officially looking for our next cohort of future instructors. The BODYBAR Certification isn't simply a credential—it's the exclusive training for learning and teaching the proprietary BODYBAR Method. If you're selected for the program, you'll complete our comprehensive certification while preparing for the opportunity to join the BODYBAR Huntington Beach teaching team.

    Pilates, group fitness experience, personal training (preferred, not required)

    The ability to successfully complete and pass BODYBAR’s Instructor Training Program.

    What You Will Do

    Cultivate and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BODYBAR’s Method, Mission, Vision, and Goals

    Be a true BODYBAR Ambassador–live the BODYBAR mission and bring energy to every class you teach

    Design and instruct Reformer Pilates-based group classes, according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, that are safe and effective for clients of all fitness levels

    Guide and educate members with expert cues to keep them safe, aligned, and confident in every movement as well as perform personal, 1:1 form corrections when needed

    Respond to client questions regarding, but not limited to, the following: special movement considerations, studio policies, and promotions

    Responsibly show-up for scheduled classes, owning your class schedule—securing subs promptly to ensure an excellent member experience

    Participate in quarterly team meetings, team building events, and required additional trainings

    Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class

    All applicants MUST be available to attend the in-person BODYBAR Instructor Training Course and web meetings. To provide the highest level of instruction, our training is divided into two intensive modules. Attendance in full, at dates is required for certification. Please be sure you are able to attend both Modules prior to applying.

    Training & Certification:

    Training Location: BODYBAR Pilates Huntington Beach, 7656 Edinger Ave, Huntington Beach, CA Tuition: BODYBAR Instructor Training is $1,900. A $200 discount is applied when paid in full by September 1st. Payment plans are available. Final tuition must be paid in full by Oct 1st.

    Certification: Instructors must complete the full 200-Hour BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Program for full Certification. Appreticeship Program: Apprenticeship hours available during Certification Program.

    Training dates:

    24-hours of online training to be completed prior to on-site training on October 23rd

    Module 1 Training (all days required):

    Friday, October 23rd, 12pm - 8pm (on-site)

    Saturday, October 24th, 12pm - 8pm (on-site)

    Sunday, October 25th, 11:30am - 7:30pm (on-site)

    Thursday, October 29th 12pm - 1pm Master Trainer Coaching Call (web meeting)

    Module 2 Training (all days required):

    Saturday, December 12th, 12pm - 8pm (on-site)

    Sunday, December 13th, 11:30am - 7:30pm (on-site)

    Thursday, December 17th 12pm - 1pm Master Trainer Coaching Call (web meeting)

    Career Growth: While completion of training does not guarantee employment at a specific studio, successful graduates who meet our instructor standards are invited to join the BODYBAR Huntington Beach teaching team. It also makes you an elite candidate for the entire BODYBAR network and provides a professional skill set recognized across our franchise.
