Conduct chemical analyses of body fluids, such as Stool, blood, or urine, using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases and enter findings into computer.
- Analyze the results of tests or experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical or electrical devices.
- Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
- Prepare standard volumetric solutions or reagents to be combined with samples, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures.
- Collect Stool, blood or tissue samples from patients, observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood sample.
- Attend Lab Meetings
- Print Schedules and Prepare kits for the following day’s visits
- Prepare information needed for applicable studies
- Verify, collect, and label samples
- Process samples utilizing proper procedural protocols---Refer to the Lab Manual
- Place samples in the correct storage
- Maintain all Laboratory Records: Temp Log, PK Log, Destruction Log, Inventory, and Recording Lab Kits
- Perform ECGs for all studies depending on the visit days
- Transmit daily
- Vitals-Biometrics
- Must rotate working during the weekends as needed
- Comply with the correct procedures, policies, health, and safety regulations
- Sanitize Lab work area daily
Medical Assistant experience preferred
