ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shampoos carpet in guest rooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and any other public areas everyday
• Open and close floor umbrellas as needed
• Cleans windows
• Deliver / remove furniture throughout the hotel as needed
• Maintains cleanliness of marble and tile in bathrooms
• Flips mattresses every three months
• Cleans the patio furniture daily
• Polishes floors Cleans hotel canopies
• Cleans Valet drive
• Picks up Housekeeping deliveries
• Maintains Janitorial supply room clean, neat and free of debris at all times
• Waxes floors
• Reports any missing or broken furniture or equipment to Supervisor immediately
• Keeps the equipment in good conditions

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of floor and/or carpet care

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regularly required to stand and walk
• Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
