    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The purpose of this job is to assist in resolving escalated technical and operational issues for the Travel Centers, Restaurants, Fuel Terminals, Card Locks, and the company’s dealers.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1.  Provide support to team members and internal customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues

    2.  Analyze and resolve problems with hardware and software, and provide any additional assistance necessary to ensure a positive guest experience

    3.  Monitor system alerts to ensure the proper day-to-day operation of internal technology applications and equipment

    4.  Assist with maintaining the integrity of store databases; ensure the site is processing sales data correctly; perform basic maintenance of the database if necessary

    5.  Troubleshoot software and hardware issues; perform updates, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks

    6.  Assist stores and restaurants with point of sale (POS) hardware and software issues to ensure a positive guest experience; assist with diagnosis and correction of issues with back office computers and printers

    7.  Monitor email requests for service and support

    8.  Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

    9.  Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

     

    10.  Complete other duties as assigned

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1.  High school diploma or equivalent certificate required

     

    2.  Pursuing bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology or related required

     

    SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

    1.  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

     

    2.  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
