Job Description

This is for the Manager, Angular Application Development position.

Direct and oversee, lead, and set priorities for a team of software application developers with a special focus on designing, developing and implementing transportation management software using Angular and related technologies. Select, coach, train, and develop direct reports, to include appraising job performance and conducting performance reviews. Develop and implement technology development plans, policies, and procedures. Manage and develop partnerships and relationships with key internal customers. Partner with the business to analyze problems, translate business requirements, and recommend technology solutions. Work across the enterprise to share lessons learned and best practices in addition to serving as a change agent for the organization. Recognize necessary system improvements, and provide suggestions and recommendations. Communicate with business and IT to provide updates and status, and IT governance. May work remotely from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, plus 3 years of experience in software development

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, plus 5 years of experience in software development

This position is based out of our HQ in Knoxville, TN; job can be performed by telecommuting from anywhere within the U.S.

Must have experience with each of the following: 1. Building Angular components and libraries; 2. PostgreSQL; 3. SQL; 4. Jenkins; 5. Python.

Additional Information

Salary: $147,784 - $180,700
