    Job Description

    The Specialist, Sales Trainer will perform routine new hire onboarding in support of the Strategic Sales team. This role will also play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and performance of our sales team through the delivery of comprehensive and continual training programs.

    1. Facilitate the training of new Sales representatives on sales techniques, standard operating procedures, sales-specific technology, and customer service best practices.
    2. Conduct dynamic and interactive training sessions, workshops, and role-playing exercises that foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and skill application.
    3. Monitor and evaluate the impact of sales training initiatives through assessments, quizzes, and post-training evaluations.
    4. Maintain team member training records.
    5. Collect feedback from participants and management to continuously improve training programs and measure their impact on sales performance.
    6. Follow the training curriculum as assigned.
    7. Maintain training aids such as manuals and handbooks.
    8. Assist with the coordination of off-site training events for team members.
    9. Ensure all new candidates complete and retain course material from the onboarding program.
    10. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
    11. Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
    12. Collaborate with Sales Management to help grow and develop sales professionals on the team.
    13. Complete other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, management, education or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Minimum 2 years in training or teaching experience preferred.

    Specialized Knowledge

    1. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
    2. Intermediate Customer Relation Management (CRM) software is preferred.
    3. Basic knowledge of the fuel and trucking industry preferred
    4. Thorough knowledge of company products and offerings

    Competencies

    1. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    2. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    3. Possess strong presentation and facilitation skills.
    4. Ability to coach and motivate team members.
    5. Ability to present and lead discussions in a training environment.
