Job Description
The purpose of this job is to support Safety and Security company-wide; Safety & Security Department by developing and implementing safety programs, emergency response plans and business continuity for the company.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure the companies readiness for various types of emergencies and disasters
- Identifies, reviews, and implements modifications to response plans, policies, and procedures in the preparation of a comprehensive response to a broad array of natural and manmade disasters and emergency situations affecting operations
- Communicates and coordinates emergency procedures; maintains personnel and emergency resource materials information; coordinates operational drills in preparation for emergency situations; responds to emergencies and coordinates resources according to plans
- Develop and implement safety programs in accordance with OSHA regulations that support Pilots sales and support center (SSC) team members
- Assist in management of Pilots corporate emergency communication tools and processes
- Assess daily weather status and identify viable threats; communicate threats to the company’s management and assist in emergency calls’ tracking/follow up/reporting
- Liaise with various law enforcement agencies (local, state, federal) to maintain local intelligence
- Investigate and formulate responses to governmental citations or inquiries
- Develop weekly/monthly safety message for the sales and support center including safety awareness, current incident reports, and industry best practices
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Complete other duties as assigned
