    Job Description

    The purpose of this job is to monitor transactions, investigate and recommend final decisions on customer fraud claims, and report findings that will help the Fraud Prevention team improve methods of preventing fraud. The role will collaborate with other team members of the Fraud Prevention team to create and implement fraud prevention tactics.

    1. Work fraud claims timely and ensure credits are issued appropriately
    2. Ensure all possible transactions are monitored via the fraud prevention tools and help our customers better protect their account
    3. Perform the daily time sensitive processes of alerting customers of suspected fraudulent activity and identifying trends
    4. Identify new fraud patterns / exposures and recommends necessary changes to fraud policy and procedure to prevent or minimize financial losses
    5. Work with Fraud Prevention Manager to cooperate and participate in any police investigation involving fraudulent activity at our proprietary sites. Participation may include log file review, video file download or hard copy request, reviewing video and distributing to all investigating parties, and transaction review for a site in question
    6. Provide input to assist in Credit / Sales strategic decisions for the department(s) and associated programs
    7. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
    8. Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
    9. Complete other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent certificate required
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related business field preferred
    • Minimum three years’ work experience required

    Specialized Knowledge

    • Intermediate Microsoft Office, Jira, and beginner Tableau skills preferred
    • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, practices, and procedures
    • Strong systems orientation with the ability to rapidly develop deep knowledge and understanding of key credit department systems

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally with customers
    • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills
    • Teamwork, problem solving, conflict management, influencing, presentation and negotiating skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work-streams concurrently
