    Job Description

    The purpose of this job is to develop, implement, and assess the effectiveness of training solutions for Pilot’s Talent Development team. This role is responsible for supporting training programs end to end, including administrative/logistical responsibilities and facilitation with emphasis on leadership development.

    In this role you will:

    1. Support the curriculum development and training delivery for the Talent Development team using various formats (i.e., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, etc.).
    2. Conduct needs assessment and analysis to identify development needs and define learning and performance objectives.
    3. Create blended learning content aligned with learning objectives.
    4. Partner with subject matter experts and other internal stakeholders (e.g., department leadership, Human resources staff) to identify needs, develop training content, and deliver most appropriate solutions.
    5. Apply methods to evaluate and improve the effectiveness and impact of training Team Member performance.
    6. Manage existing programs; make timely updates based on internal stakeholder feedback and changes in process or business needs.
    7. Facilitate leadership development and team effectiveness interventions.
    8. Lead training projects to include developing proposals for learning solutions and managing stakeholders, timelines, and communications to achieve desired outcomes.
    9. Maintain awareness of industry developments and Pilot’s business to provide relevant and timely solutions.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in I/O psychology, human resources, adult education or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience developing training content required.
    • Recognized professional training certifications preferred.
    • Formal leadership experience preferred. (This position will not have direct reports but will support leadership development programs.)
    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
    • Familiarity with software for development of training and multi-media content preferred (e.g., video, desktop publishing, LMS, etc.).
    • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design.
    • Knowledge of teaching and instruction for individuals and groups.
    • Knowledge of assessment and measurement of training effectiveness and impact (e.g., Kirkpatrick, ROI Institute, etc.).
    • Knowledge of adult learning theory and application required.
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in applying critical thinking skills to assess and solve training and performance challenges.
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
    • Ability to meet goals and objectives in a dynamic environment.
