    Job Description

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Finance-HR Associate is responsible for supporting initiatives in both Accounting and HR areas.  The Finance-HR Associate provides assistance with various accounting functions/processes and administrative support and assistance with all HR functions.

    This is a full-time position and while the general schedule is 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, flexibility in schedule is sometimes required to meet the demands of the company.

    Duties include and are not limited to:

    • Pulling, distributing, coding and reconciling Corporate Credit Card statements
    • Collecting, reviewing and preparing employee expense reports
    • Preparing data for various invoices/bills as necessary
    • Assisting with various month-end reconciliations
    • Providing support services to all those who interact with the HR department
    • Creating, maintaining, and updating personnel records consistent with statutory requirement and to ensure confidentiality
    • Updating and maintaining AP systems
    • Coordinating distribution of employment disclosures
    • Providing administrative support for payroll
    • Assisting with onboarding new employees
    • Enrolling/funding/preparing reports for 401k deferrals
    • Assisting employees with Health Insurance/HRA program
    • Assisting cattle accounting department with projects as needed
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    EXPERIENCE

    One to three years of practical, hands-on accounting and/or human resource experience, or other related fields preferred.  Familiarity with Microsoft Office Systems as well as ability to learn other systems as required.  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.  Ability to consistently follow up on tasks and follow both written and verbal instructions is required.  Excellent communication skills and a command of the English language are required. 

    OTHER DEMANDS (IN A USUAL WORKDAY)

    Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills in order to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting tasks. Must be able to work with minimal supervision regarding time management and resident assignments and have the ability to consistently make sound, ethical decisions in emergency situations.  Demonstrated ability to make accurate assessments while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the community.

    EDUCATION

    Minimum of Associates Degree in related field is required.
