    Seasonal Junior Recruiter

    Job Summary:

    For this entry-level position, we’re seeking competitive, career-driven individuals to join our fast-paced team on-site in Denver, CO. Our Junior Recruiter will play a pivotal role within Pinemelon by providing sourcing, screening, and administrative support for our HR department.

    The Seasonal Junior Recruiter is a proactive, dynamic, adaptable, and organized person who helps identify a mix of candidates to recruit and hire exceptional talent.

    Availability:

    Term is through the end of August 2024. Flexible scheduling to adapt to candidate needs is a must.

    Location:

    5915 Broadway, Denver, CO, 80216 - this is NOT a remote-only opportunity

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to fulfill them.
    • Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Assist in the creation and posting of job descriptions on relevant platforms, ensuring accurate company branding.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Coordinate and participate in recruitment events such as job fairs and campus recruiting activities.
    • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress and candidate pipelines.
    • Responsible for recruitment reporting such as time to fill, offer acceptance rate, sourcing channel effectiveness, etc.
    • Partner with other departments such as operations, marketing, IT, etc to drive in-house recruitment initiatives in a way that ensures consistent employer branding
    • Assist in other HR-related tasks and projects as needed.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent organizational abilities and adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Demonstrated capability to operate effectively both individually and within a collaborative team setting
    • Proactive and self-starting attitude
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor
    • Proficiency in different interviewing techniques
    • Proven interpersonal abilities of being approachable to stakeholders from diverse backgrounds

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Pursuing associate's degree or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not required.
    • 1 year of previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR is preferred but not required.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications and experience with ATS is a plus.
    • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Reliable transportation a must for recruitment events
