  • Responsibilities

    Knowledge of typography, photography, illustration, iconography, color, pattern, and form, and the ability to use these things to drive engagement. The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Creative Director and the Ad Supervisor.

    THE GRAPHIC DESIGNER WILL WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND AD SUPERVISOR TO:

    • ● Understand company brand guidelines and apply on-brand design solutions for digital, video, and physical formats
    • ● Ensure a consistent look and feel for all images and graphics, following brand guidelines
    • ● Assist in the thoughtful creation of collateral, e-mail/social campaigns & digital graphics
    • ● Stay current on digital technologies and trends to advise and recommend new approaches for digital marketing
    • ● Research, grow, and manage a well-organized inventory of creative resources, advertising opportunities, and photography
    • ● Coordinate with the team; preparing specifications and obtaining estimates for final approval
    • ● Handle multiple assignments simultaneously
    • ● Exhibit excellent communication and organization skills
    • ● Set priorities and accomplish tasks timely and efficiently
    • ● Project should be error free and relied upon for accuracy
    • ● Work on multiple assignments as assigned with tight deadlines
    • ● Keep work area organized
    • ● Work effectively and professionally with others to accomplish tasks
    • ● Adjust work schedule to accommodate pressing assignments, events and activities

    THE SUCCESSFUL GRAPHIC DESIGNER SHOULD:

    • ● Be able to provide a knockout design portfolio that demonstrates a keen ability to executive innovative creative ideas that generate engagement
    • ● Have a solid knowledge of fundamental design, typography, photography, and design trends
    • ● Be proficient in/with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat PDF Management tools/procedures as well as correct formatting in print & digital media
    • ● Have a high-level understanding of branding for new and existing concepts
    • ● Be able to interpret design specifications with accuracy and attention to detail
    • ● Be able to create original artwork within brand standard
    • ● Be adaptable, have enthusiasm, initiative and a positive approach to problem solving
    • ● Have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to compile detailed reports
    • ● Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
    • ● Be able to handle multiple projects and work efficiently under pressure
    • ● Possess proven teamwork skills
