Would you like to work with our client, a "globally based' top 1-15 public accounting firm, working with top quality clients as a Global Private Client Services Tax Manager in the Costa Mesa, CA office?

JOB SUMMARY

1. Oversight of multiple client service teams with the proven ability to plan, direct, execute and complete tax projects

2. Clients will be a variety of global private clients including family offices

3. Conduct review of tax returns for high net worth individuals, trusts & estates and foundations while developing and maintaining strong client relationships

4. Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients and perform research and prepare/review technical tax memorandum

5. A manager is a critical member of the tax office team, providing thought leadership to the partner group while actively developing and mentoring a team.

6. Work closely with partners, managers and staff to integrate efficient standard operating procedures and practice development skills using a team approach to client service.

QUALIFICATIONS    

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, MST is a plus
• CPA required
• 6+ years’ experience in public accounting; strong preference for "Private Client Group Experience".
• Experience with individual tax, advanced technical and tax accounting skills in the areas of corporate, partnership, and individual taxation 'with a consulting mindset"
• Proven leadership skills in managing client service teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced and interactive team environment to meet and exceed client expectations.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to identify value-added opportunities and work in a team environment to develop business
• Personal drive to develop self/others and provide leadership insight to the local tax team
