    POSITION:                        ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE B2B SALES

    REPORTS TO:                 AREA SALES MANAGER

    CLASSIFICATION:             Full-time / Exempt

    SALARY STRUCTURE:    Base Salary plus; Commission/bonus 

      JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time outside sales position. You will be personally interacting daily with existing customers and developing new customers. The line of communication will vary.  At times you maybe on the  phone and other times face-to-face with your potential customer.

    All key sales performance indicators will be tiered on a monthly basis during your first 6-months.  The first 3-months are concentrated on your education of our organization, along with seeing the winning business solutions we offer for companies of any size and industry.   

      

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

               Daily coverage of your assigned sales territory. This will include being out in the field and connecting with existing and prospective customers.

               Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using all available resources.

               Provide customer service support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.

               Partner with existing customers to ascertain their current needs and generate additional sales.

               Consistent promotion of oneself and the company in the community.

               As needed will be asked to attend trade shows and/or marketing networking events.

               Ensure that all customer information, including all sales calls, customer interaction on products and/or new equipment/lease information is updated daily in the internal company CRM tool.

               Keep management informed of all sales activity through daily communication which includes in-person, phone and email.

               Attend all assigned sales training and interdepartmental meetings. Monthly meetings and/or conference calls may be required to review sales activity and sales revenue numbers.

               At any given time have the ability to review with direct manager, all customer activity, potential sales and personal forecasted revenue per month/quarter/annually.

               Keep up-to-date on all industry competitive activity and trends within your assigned sales territory.

               Maintain a close relationship with the administrative corporate personnel regarding any customer concerns or questions.

               Responsible for completing all paperwork related to all personal sales orders, leasing approvals, and keeping well-informed on delivery/removal of equipment to customer locations. 

      SECONDARY FUNCTIONS                   Open, read, and respond to all Company emails daily.

               Be a team player and willing to share suggestions, comments, and successes.

               Attend and participate in requested meetings and trainings.

               Complete all training requirements and prerequisites assigned for sales staff. Enroll in necessary courses for self-training as needed for the industry.

     QUALIFICATIONS:  5+ years outside sales experience. Industry experience selling copiers/printers/technology/business solutions a plus.  Strong track record of fulfilling and surpassing revenue quotas. Experience in a dealer/distributor sales environment a plus. Good knowledge of sales, service, and administrative functions. Broad knowledge of the Company's policies, products and/or services.

     

    EDUCATION:

     BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred

    JOB SKILLS:

           Must have above-average computer skills, including the Internet, MS Office products, laptops and other database experience.            Able to complete regular tasks through Company software.

               Ability to get along with various personality types and education levels.

               Must possess the ability to interface with all departments.

               Exceptional organizational skills.

               Professionalism at all levels.

               Excellent English communication skills.

               Must have exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

               Basic math skills.

     OTHER REQUIREMENTS:            Must have a valid drivers license and meet requirements set forth in our company Auto Safety Policy.

               Must be able to travel up to 50%-80% of the time.

               Maintaining composure in dealing with executives, clients, and staff, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.

               Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.

               Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial time pressure, and to perform under the demands set by the  Company.

               Ability to perform the general duties and responsibilities set forth above in a consistent and efficient manner.

               Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation, instruction, persuasion, and/or speaking with others.

               Should be able to drive for extended periods of time and includes travel out of the area.  Visitation to other branch locations as needed.  Travel will be necessary for training purposes.
