SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Human Resource Administrator will be responsible for database involving safety/ Workers Comp, union issues, and other duties. The specialist will have exposure and training to eliminate hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations that may lead to human injury and/or property damage. Also exposure to methods and techniques; safety-related elements of the physical sciences, ergonomics, psychology and physiology; and safety principles, standards, practices and analytical techniques.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Data entry Safety, Workers Comp, and Union grievances.

• Assist in identification, analysis and control of occupational hazards.

• May advise on structural safety requirements. Review proposed occupational safety policies, guidelines and standards to determine their consistency.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of HR/ safety experience.
