    **DUTIES:
    Provide staff augmentation services in support of training for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) in the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) of assigned instructional programs in accordance with approved Training Program Descriptions and Training Plans. General responsibilities include attending training to qualify for SME/instructor status on one or more courses, reviewing and providing input for course and exam improvements, grading course exams and providing feedback for students, providing instruction for specified engineering courses to engineers to include but not limited to the following topical areas:
    o Conduct of Operations for Engineers
    o SmartPlant Foundation (SPF)/E7
    o Asset Suite
    o Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow & Thermodynamics
    o Process Instrumentation
    o Process Controls
    o Mechanical Components, Drawings, & Documents

    WORK HOURS:
    Flexible work hours, part-time up to 32 hours per week or on as needed basis.

    CLEARANCE:
    A Security Clearance is not required for this position

    THIS IS PRIMARILY AN ON SITE POSITITION WITH LIMITED/MINIMAL TELEWORK CAPABILITIES

    **

    Education
    Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in an applicable engineering discipline (e.g. electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, nuclear, chemical, computer science, computer related, etc.) or a minimum of 20 years' experience in Engineering Operations or a Technical capacity in lieu of a degree.

    Experience/Skills

    • Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering role as a Subject Matter Expert.
    • Familiarity with engineering manuals, procedures, standards, and engineering programs.
    • Experience and demonstrated ability to provide engineering course instruction and mentoring experience of engineers to gain engineering judgement.
    • Candidate shall have good communication and presentation skills.
    • Candidate shall be skilled in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
    • Ability to develop/deliver engaging technical classroom training is required.
    • Attend and qualify for Subject Matter Expert/Instructor Status on numerous engineering training topics.

    Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
