    Our client is a leader in biotechnology that ultimately exists to help patients. Millions worldwide are afflicted with genetic diseases, but small patient populations and industry reluctance to conduct early-stage development means that for many, treatments have not been forthcoming. They strive to change that.

     

    Top Requirements:

    • Biotech Industry experience
    • 3+ years of experience
    • Experience with Coupa or SAP - Desired
    • Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, if function, pivot table, etc.) - Desired

     

    What You’ll Do:

    • Process daily purchasing activities, such as the creation of purchase requisition to purchase order and ensure that incoming requests are processed timely
    • Create or approve Purchase Requests to enable Purchase Orders creation
    • Research unmatched invoices to determine respective Purchase Order to pay against
    • Maintain organized work around priorities
    • Trouble-shoot Purchase Order, Supplier Add, Invoice challenges
    • Follow and improve department processes
    • Drive quality and transparency by updating Procurement logs
    • Attend meetings and trainings
    • Create Ad-Hoc Procurement reports
    • Be involved in finance accounting projects with impact on Procurement
    • Partner with AP to ensure an appropriate match of invoices to open purchase orders
    • Work closely with Accounting and Finance on month end close and budgeting projects
    • Comply with the end-to-end PR to PO cycle in accordance with the requirements of SOX

     

    What You’ll Bring:

    • 3-5 years of Transactional Purchasing experience (desired)
    • Experience in Purchasing related processes in NetSuite and Coupa (desired)
    • Biotech experience is a plus
    • Outstanding organization and detailed orientated skills
    • Ability to create and use data analytical documents (e.g., MS Excel)
    • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Must have experience working in the fast-paced and high-volume work environment
    • Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to enable novel solutions.
