About the Role:

This is a key role on the accounting team that will report to the Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, focusing on accounts receivable and accounts payable operations.
Pay Rate: $26-30/hr
Work Location: Hybrid (San Jose, CA)
Assignment Duration: 2+ months
What You’ll Do:
Supervise accounts receivable processes, including customer profile management, invoicing, payment tracking, and discrepancy resolution. Proactively reach out to late-paying customers
Manage accounts payable tasks, ensuring accurate vendor invoice processing, credit card purchases, and timely reconciliations
Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and address payment inquiries
Analyze accounts payable and receivable, providing actionable recommendations to the Accounting Manager
Generate and share weekly accounts receivable reports
Work with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and address challenges
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance
1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, including accounts payable and receivable
Preferred familiarity with basic sales and use tax laws or prior exposure to sales and use tax
Advantageous prior experience in balance sheet reconciliation
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precise financial records
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification is advantageous.
